See How Stubborn Sally Is Making a Difference
Our mission goes beyond this website. Explore how Stubborn Sally is reaching communities, inspiring young readers, and creating safe spaces to learn and grow.
Our First Read-Aloud Event!
April 1st, 2026 marked a milestone for SafeSpaceStories: We hosted our very first read-aloud event!
Our debut novel, "Stubborn Sally," was read to a first-grade class at P.S. 41, and the response from the children was everything we had hoped for. Watching them connect and engage with the story in real time made this moment truly special.
This event has been a long time coming, and it is only the beginning. We look forward to bringing more read-aloud experiences to classrooms and communities in the future!
